Plopsa aims for maximum safety for its visitors and pays the utmost attention to this. All attractions are checked and tested daily by the park's technical department. Moreover, the attractions meet the strict standards prescribed by Belgian law and/or the TUV and checked by an external body.
For hygiene and safety reasons, animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind. Do not leave pets unattended in the car. We always inform the emergency services who will, if necessary, free the animal by opening a window.
Designed with the utmost care and consideration for all our visitors, the park is easily accessible for wheelchair users. There are special facilities for them.
You can use your own wheelchair during your visit or reserve a wheelchair. It is recommended to reserve your wheelchair in advance via this link. The number of available wheelchairs is limited. When you pick up a wheelchair, you have to give your identity card as a guarantee.
In this guide, you can find all the information about the accessibility of the attractions. This guide was compiled to make your stay in our parks as pleasant as possible and to prepare your day as well as possible. It goes over the facilities and services available to you as a person with a disability and gives you a better idea of our policies on access to attractions for people with disabilities.
Close to the park entrance, parking spaces are provided for people with disabilities. Our car park staff will be happy to show you the way to these parking spaces.
Plopsa has preferential rates for people with disabilities. These tickets can only be bought at the reception in the Plopsa parks. As our staff are not authorised to make any assessment regarding a (non-)visible disability, we ask that you present a European Disability Card or a valid declaration (maximum 1 year old) from an independent doctor confirming that you are unable to visit the park and/or the attractions without assistance and/or unable to do queues. If you are a wheelchair user or blind, you should not submit this certificate. The companion of a wheelchair user or blind person receives free entry. For other companions, normal admission fees apply.
The companion must be at least 15 years old.
Children staying with host families (Euro-Children, Chernobyl children, Romanian (orphan) children, etc.) can visit the park at a reduced rate. They receive a €10 discount on the ticket price ≥1m at Plopsaland De Panne, provided they carry proof of identity/badge from their organisation.
