The Christmas Gnome is one of the much-loved characters from the film *Plop and the Magic Wand*, which was released in cinemas in 2003. He gained fame partly thanks to the cheerful song ‘The Christmas Gnome is Coming’, which still lingers in the memories of many.

In winter, the Christmas Gnome leaves his familiar surroundings to pay a visit to Plopsaland Belgium! Together with his friends, the Christmas Gnome creates a wonderful celebration full of music, fun and Christmas magic at Plopsaland!
The Christmas Gnome in *Plop and the Magic Wand*
The Christmas Gnome is an old, wise gnome who travels around the world every year, just before Christmas, in his flying sledge. He has a magic wand, which he can only use one day a year. With this wand, the Christmas Gnome ensures that all the gnomes in the gnome forest receive a heart-warming little present.
In his magic crystal ball, the Christmas Gnome can keep an eye on the gnomes’ comings and goings throughout the year, and he jots down everything he mustn’t forget in his lists. Although he wouldn’t readily admit it, he is (sometimes) a little forgetful. Fortunately, in his workshop, he always has the help of gnomes Mik and Mak to deliver the presents!
The Christmas Gnome is a much-loved gnome, but he has a particularly special bond with Plop and his friends. Without Plop, Klus, Kwebbel, Lui, Smal and Smul, the magic wand would have been lost forever, and there would have been no more Christmas magic… Every year, when he stops at Plop’s milk inn, he thanks them for their help! And of course, there are fresh Plop biscuits and warm Plop milk always waiting for him.
