Is the Flying Cinema an indoor attraction?
Yes. The Flying Cinema is a fully covered attraction at Plopsaland Plaza, right by the park entrance. This means you can enjoy the same spectacular experience all year round, whatever the weather.
How long does the flight last?
The flight lasts about five minutes. During this spectacular journey, you’ll fly alongside Maya the Bee over some of Europe’s most beautiful places, such as Venice, the tulip fields in the Netherlands, Paris and even Plopsaland Belgium.
Is the Flying Cinema accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?
Yes. The attraction is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Thanks to a specially adapted boarding area on the ground floor, visitors can board comfortably. You can find more information about accessibility at reception or at the entrance to the Flying Cinema.
What effects can I expect?
During the flight, lifelike movements, wind and scent effects ensure that you feel as though you’re really flying through the air.
Is the Flying Cinema a rollercoaster?
No. The Flying Cinema is a flying theatre or special flight simulator. You do not fly over a rollercoaster track, but float in front of a giant cinema dome whilst movements, film and special effects combine to create a single immersive experience.
Plopsaland Plaza is set to become the park’s new central meeting place. The complex combines experiences, dining and entertainment all in one place. Visitors will discover a brand-new and spectacular attraction, the atmospheric Grand Café serving classics such as stewed meat and steak tartare, the bowling alley, and the return of the iconic Plopsa Express – the train that runs through the park – complete with a brand-new station.
With Plopsaland Plaza, Plopsaland is taking the next step in the development of a fully-fledged resort. By 2027, visitors will find a comprehensive range of facilities there: from attractions and full-length evening shows to a water park, hotel and holiday accommodation. Thanks to the Flying Cinema, the new Grand Café, the Bowling Alley and the central meeting square, everything will come together in one location for the first time.
