The Flying Cinema is a unique flying experience that lets you discover Europe as you’ve never seen it before. You take your seat in an innovative flight simulator and fly alongside Maya the Bee over some of the continent’s most beautiful spots. From colourful tulip fields and romantic Venice to the iconic Eiffel Tower and even Plopsaland!
Exclusive preview for annual pass holders and hotel guests
Even before the Flying Cinema officially opens its doors, as a Plopsa annual passholder or guest staying at the resort, you’ll have the unique opportunity from 19 December 2026 to be among the first to experience the attraction during the exclusive Avant-Premières.
Whilst you’re among the first to take off with Maya, we’ll be putting the finishing touches to everything behind the scenes. This way, we’ll ensure that every visitor can enjoy the best possible flying experience from the official opening onwards.
Please note: places for the preview screenings are limited, so book your spot quickly. The Flying Cinema is still in its trial phase during this period. Temporary interruptions or short closures may occur in exceptional circumstances, but we’ll do everything we can to ensure you have an unforgettable first flight.

What is the Flying Cinema?
Get ready for a unique flying experience and discover Europe as you’ve never seen it before. In The Flying Cinema, you’ll take your seat in an innovative flight simulator and fly alongside Maya the Bee over some of the continent’s most beautiful spots. From colourful tulip fields and romantic Venice to the iconic Eiffel Tower and even Plopsaland!
Thanks to an impressive combination of a giant cinema dome, lifelike movements and surprising wind and scent effects, you’ll feel as though you’re really soaring through the air.
Annual pass holders discover the Flying Cinema first
As an annual pass holder of Plopsaland Belgium, you’ll be among the first to experience a flight with the brand-new Flying Cinema during the preview. Simply reserve your preferred date using the annual pass number on your annual pass card and secure your spot. Be quick, as places are limited!
Only annual pass holders with a valid annual pass that grants access to Plopsaland Belgium can take part in the preview of the Flying Cinema.

What is the Preview?
The Preview is an exclusive preview period starting on 19 December 2026, during which a limited number of visitors can experience the Flying Cinema before its official opening on 13 March 2027.
Why are you organising a Preview?
During the Previews, we are fine-tuning the full visitor experience and operational processes. At the same time, our loyal annual pass holders and staying guests have the unique opportunity to be among the first to experience the Flying Cinema.
Who can take part in the Preview?
The Avant-Premieres are exclusively accessible to resort guests and annual pass holders.
- Resort guests are eligible when staying at Plopsaland Village, Plopsaland Theater Hotel or the Studio 100 Chalets on a date when an Avant-Premiere takes place from 19 December 2026 onwards.
- Annual pass holders must hold a valid one-year or two-year pass that grants access to Plopsaland Belgium on both the reservation date and the date of the Avant-Premiere (Plopsaland Belgium Pass, Plopsa Pass Europe or Plopsa Pass Europe Premium).
What is the minimum height requirement for the attraction?
Everyone ≥ 1.30 metres tall can take a seat in the Flying Cinema and take off with Maya the Bee for an unforgettable flight. Children ≥ 1.00 and < 1.30 metres tall may only experience the attraction when accompanied by an adult. Children under 1.00 metre tall are unfortunately not allowed to board the attraction.
When will the Flying Cinema be accessible to everyone?
The official opening will take place on 13 March 2027. From then on, every visitor to Plopsaland Belgium can experience the Flying Cinema.
I am a Plopsa annual pass holder. How can I take part?
Reserve your free timeslot in advance via the reservation form on this website. Use your annual pass number, which can be found on your pass card. You received this card when activating your pass during your first visit.
I am staying at Plopsaland. Do I automatically have access to the attraction?
Yes. From 19 December 2026, guests of Plopsaland Village, Plopsaland Theater Hotel and Studio 100 Chalets will receive an admission ticket for the Flying Cinema at check-in.
I have a day ticket for Plopsaland. Can I take part in the Preview?
No. The Previews are exclusively for Plopsa annual pass holders and staying guests. From 13 March 2027, the Flying Cinema will be accessible to all visitors of Plopsaland Belgium.
Do I need to reserve a time slot?
Yes. Plopsa annual pass holders can reserve a time slot free of charge in advance via this website. Staying guests will receive their admission ticket with the assigned time slot at check-in.
How do I reserve my time slot as a Plopsa annual pass holder?
Simply reserve online via the Flying Cinema Preview page.
- Select ‘I want to reserve as a Plopsa annual pass holder’.
- Enter the annual pass numbers of all participants (you can add additional people via the + icon).
- Click ‘Choose available dates’ and select a date.
- Choose an available time slot and confirm your reservation.
- After making your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all practical information.
Does each annual pass holder need to make their own reservation?
No. You can add multiple valid annual pass numbers to a single reservation, so you can enjoy the Preview together.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
You can change your reservation via this link. Cancellation is not possible.
Is the Flying Cinema accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?
Yes. The attraction is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Thanks to an adapted boarding area on the ground floor, visitors can board comfortably. More information about accessibility is available at the reception or at the entrance to the Flying Cinema.
