Competition Terms and Conditions

Entry to the competition on Plopsaland Deutschland’s Facebook page, Instagram account or TikTok account is only permitted subject to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Organiser of the competition

The competition is organised by Holiday Park GmbH, Holiday-Park-Straße 1–5, 67454 Hassloch/Pfalz (hereinafter referred to as the ‘organiser’).

2. Who is eligible to enter?

Eligible to enter are natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and are resident in the Federal Republic of Germany. Only one entry per person is permitted per competition. Employees and relatives of the Organiser and its affiliated companies are excluded from taking part.

Participants may be required to provide proof of their eligibility to enter the competition. If participants fail to provide such proof within the deadline set by the Organiser, the Organiser reserves the right to exclude them from taking part.

3. How do you enter the competition?

To take part in the competition, participants must fully comply with the necessary terms and conditions set out in the image description.

Entries that contravene German law and/or copyright will be removed without notice once this comes to the organiser’s attention. The participants concerned will thereby be excluded from the competition.

The organiser reserves the right to exclude participants who have provided false or incomplete information or who have otherwise breached the terms and conditions of entry, without giving reasons. The organiser also reserves the right to exclude individual participants from the competition for security reasons.

Participation via competition clubs, automated services or other service providers is not permitted.

Entry is free of charge and independent of any purchase of goods or use of paid services.

4. What can you win?

Four combination tickets (2 x 2 each) are to be raffled off for the ‘Tanz in den Mai 2026’ event at Plopsaland Deutschland on 30 April 2026. The tickets grant entry to the park from 10.00 am on the day itself and access to the event from 6.00 pm.

5. Start and end of the competition

The competition begins with the publication of this post and ends at 12 noon on 29 April 2026.

The organiser reserves the right to terminate the competition prematurely, in whole or in part, at any time, without observing any deadlines, without prior notice and without giving reasons, or to amend its course, insofar as it is not possible to conduct the competition properly for technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software and hardware) or legal reasons, it is not possible to conduct the competition properly.

6. Selection of winners & receipt of the prize

Winners will be selected by random draw.

Winners will be notified via direct message by the organiser’s marketing department.

7. Disclaimer regarding Facebook/Instagram

This competition is not supported, sponsored or organised by Facebook or Instagram. The competition is in no way connected to these platforms. By taking part in this competition, all participants release Facebook and Instagram from any claims or liability in connection with the competition. Facebook and Instagram are not available as points of contact for the competition.

8. Data Protection

The organiser is happy to assist participants with any questions regarding data protection. The organiser is the contact person and the so-called controller for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and can also be contacted at [email protected].

In the event of a win, the organiser collects and processes the following data of the winners in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR in order to be able to present the prize to the respective winner: Facebook or Instagram name, first name and surname. This data will only be disclosed to third parties to the extent that this is strictly necessary for the administration of the prize draw. The organiser will delete the data in full upon completion of the prize draw and announcement of the winners, at the latest 4 weeks after the prize draw has been finalised.

Insofar as the organiser processes personal data relating to participants, the participants, as data subjects, are entitled in particular to the following rights under data protection law, subject to the relevant conditions:

  • Right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR, Section 34 of the BDSG)
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR, Section 34 of the BDSG)
  • Right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR, Section 35 of the BDSG)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR, Section 19 of the BDSG)
  • Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3) of the GDPR)
  • Right to object to certain data processing activities (Article 21 of the GDPR)

9. Liability

The organiser shall only be liable for damage caused by the organiser or a vicarious agent through wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or through a breach of fundamental obligations. This limitation of liability does not apply to damage to life, limb and/or health, for which the organiser bears unlimited liability.

The organiser shall not be liable for the availability of the Facebook page/Instagram page/website or for any transmission errors.

10. Severability clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

11. Final provisions

The competition is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. All information is provided without guarantee. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. Legal recourse is excluded; data protection rights remain unaffected.
